I'm Arthur, a Golden Retriever. I was rescued from the streets of Taiwan through the efforts of Golden Retriever Rescue and many kind volunteers in Taiwan. I understand Mandarin and English but cannot speak either. I have the innate ability to smell anything 'round' and I consider myself a real foodie as I'm willing to try just about anything edible. I was adopted by my human in 2009, my human ROCKS; together, we are on a special mission in rounding me into a stellar 'urban dog'! This blog is dedicated to my journey in urban development and the humans who make it possible.

Who could leave a 'mug' like this behind?


Two years ago I was introduced to Arthur for the first time. We were both a little unsure of one another and  little bruised from our previous lives, but our life together seemed hopeful and promising! Arthur brings me joy and endless moments of laughter and new adventures every day. Rescue dogs need their humans so the decision to bring him along with me (cross country) was easy one. Just about everyone I know offered to 'take him off my hands, 'help me out for a while till I get settled' or 'give him a good home,' but guess what, his home was with me.
